About

Welcome to Australia’s Brightest Green e-Magazine!

The first issue of AC came out July 2006 with the aim to inspire people to take action to make positive change in their lives and for the planet. Being a funny kinda gal, Christine wanted the e-zine to be positive and light as a counterpart to all the gloom and doom out there about the environment. In her years as an activist, she realised that most people don’t take action on ethical issues because it’s all painted so dark, so ominous, and seemingly so hopeless, that no one believes they can make a difference. But Christine knew there were many other colours in that rainbow, so she set out to make a change.

The idea of the magazine is to provide a snapshot of what’s happening in global transformation and let readers decide what they want to do. Each fortnight the e-mag is sent straight to your email inbox where you can flick through the articles of interest, write a letter, take an action, or just get more informed about all the good things going on.

Whatever you choose to do, every action does make a difference, and you as one person do count. As Mahatma Gandhi so famously said, “ Be the change you want to see in the world.” There are people who are active agents of change. But we are all agents of change because we all shop, we all travel, and we all have the power to pick up a pen and write a letter. Every action we take determines our lives and all other life on this planet, so Action Change is also about how we can make every action count towards the world of our dreams.

So welcome again and thanks for tuning in. Best of luck on your road to change, and may every action you take be a ton of fun!

CHRIS HEADFORD – THE IT GUY
Chris HeadfordChris’ first proper job was playing in rock bands. After rockin’ out for most of the 80’s and half of the 90’s he wised up to the fact there wasn’t much money to be made in being a rock god and worked various jobs in various shops as you do. He began a song writing partnership in 1999 and perfected the art of home engineering and producing, which led to his now lucrative career as a web developer and newsletter designer. He is the proud and tired father of five-year-old Mason.
